Privacy policy

The short version: browsing the board needs no account, the sports pages add no advertising or analytics scripts, and the preferences you set stay in your own browser.

Effective 29 October 2026 Applies to all sports pages

1. Summary

This policy covers the sports section of NowHDTime: the board, the schedule, the channel guide, the multi-stream and the match pages. You can use all of it without creating an account, and we do not run advertising networks, cross-site trackers or audience analytics on these pages.

Two things are stored while you watch: a short-lived cookie that ties your player links to this browser, and a handful of preferences in local storage. Neither is used to build a profile, and neither is shared with anybody.

2. What is stored in your browser

These values are written to localStorage under keys prefixed ap::

  • Timezone and clock format β€” ap:tz, ap:hour12 β€” so times match the zone you picked.
  • Followed teams β€” ap:favs β€” the teams you chose to highlight.
  • Multi-stream lineup and layout β€” ap:multi, ap:multiLayout β€” which events and how many panes.

None of this is transmitted to us. It stays until you clear site data for this domain, and it is not readable by the server.

When a sports page is served, this site sets one cookie called spv. It carries a signed random identifier, is marked HttpOnly so page scripts cannot read it, and expires after twelve hours. Its only purpose is to seal the stream links the player receives for that one browser: a link copied and opened somewhere else does not play.

The identifier is not linked to a name, an email address or a viewing history, and it is replaced the next time you are handed a fresh one.

4. The rest of the site

The sports pages are part of a larger site. If you sign in, subscribe, pay or use another section, that section may set its own session and billing cookies and keep an account record; those are described by the main privacy policy of the site, not by this page. Signing in is never required simply to browse the board.

5. Network requests

These pages load their HTML, stylesheets, scripts and font files from this site. The fonts are self-hosted, so no font host is contacted. The player requests its segments through this site’s own address rather than pointing the browser at the original source. The sports pages add no telemetry endpoint and no third-party tracking script.

6. Server logs and rate limits

Like any website, the server records the IP address, browser identification and requested address for incoming requests. Those records are used to keep the pages up, to apply request limits that blunt scraping and bot floods, and to investigate abuse. They are kept for as long as the hosting configuration retains them and are not combined with the preferences stored in your browser.

7. Contact form

The contact form sends your name, email address, chosen topic, the match or channel you mention, your message and the page you wrote from to the support inbox. Your address is used as the reply address, so the desk can answer you directly. Messages are kept in that inbox so a conversation can be followed up; they are not written to the sports database, and they are not used for marketing.

8. Children

The sports pages are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If a message from a child reaches the support inbox, tell us and we will remove it.

9. Your choices

You can remove every stored preference at any time by clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings. The viewer cookie disappears on its own after twelve hours, or immediately if you clear cookies. If you have written to the support desk and want the message deleted, say so in a follow-up and it will be removed.

10. Changes to this policy

If the sports pages start collecting something new β€” an account-linked lineup, reminders by email, analytics β€” this page will be updated before that feature goes live, and the effective date at the top will change with it.

11. Questions

Write to the support desk and we will answer as soon as we can. You can also email [email protected].
